Boys, ages 2 and 5, among 4 victims of suspected murder-suicide in central Ohio πŸ’₯πŸ‘©πŸ‘©πŸ’₯

LITHOPOLIS, Ohio β€” Four members of a family, including two young boys, were found dead in a home Wednesday morning in what police suspect is a murder-suicide.

Kiara M. Anderson, 29, Joseph Anderson, 5, and Jeffrey Anderson, 2, died in the shooting, Fairfield County Sheriff Alex Lape tells the Lancaster Eagle Gazette. The suspected gunman, Joseph Anderson, 30, also was found dead inside the home.

The sheriff’s department received a call about a possible shooting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, WBNS Channel 10 reports. Deputies, Lithopolis police and firefighters went to the home and discovered the victims inside, the Eagle Gazette repors.

Lape tells WBNS that the elder Anderson texted someone in regard to the shooting. He reported texted that he β€œhad snapped” and told the person to call 911. That person then contacted law enforcement.

Officials say the shooting is being investigated as a murder-suicide and there are no other suspects, the Eagle Gazette reports.
