The coroner has ruled the Christmas Day deaths of a West Covina couple as a murder-suicide.
People heard arguing prior to the shooting at the apartment complex in the 2600 block of South Azusa Avenue, police said.
Juana Francisco, 37, died from multiple gunshot wounds at the hands of another, while the cause of death for Elton Williams IV, 46, was a gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner’s office.
They were in a dating relationship and lived at the complex, police said.
After receiving a 911 call about a shooting, officers went to the complex just before 1 p.m. that day. Williams died at the scene, while Francisco died at a hospital.
