Infant unharmed in Flint shooting that left woman in critical condition 💥👩👩💥

FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – An infant and two men escaped injury in a shooting last week that left a woman in critical condition.

The shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Maybury Avenue, according to information released by the Flint Police Department on Tuesday morning.

Investigators four people were in a car when a suspect opened fire. One of the bullets hit a woman in the car, but two men and an infant escaped injury.

The victims returned fire at the suspect, who was identified only as an adult male. He sustained a gunshot wound and police took him into custody.

The woman was rushed to an area hospital, where she was listed in critical condition Tuesday.
