Former MasterChef judge Matt Preston has created the ultimate dinner party in a box to feed four people – complete with an extravagant two-course feast and matching cocktails.
The renowned Australian food critic has teamed up with the meal kit delivery service Marley Spoon and gin brand Tanqueray to launch the specially-curated box for winter – and it includes everything a budding chef needs to throw together a unique dining experience like no other.
The $139 box will include the recipes and ingredients requires to make a main of roast saskia beer chicken with duck fat potatoes, bread sauce, buttered Dutch carrots and classic butter lettuce salad with vinaigrette and croutons.
You will also receive the ingredients for a dark chocolate mousse with ‘shimmering’ almonds and a bottle of Tanqueray London Dry with cocktail ingredients and recipes.

What is on the menu?
* MAIN COURSE: Roast Saskia beer chicken with duck fat potatoes and bread sauce.
* SIDES: Buttered Dutch carrots and classic butter lettuce salad with vinaigrette and croutons.
* DESSERT: Dark chocolate mousse with shimmering almonds.

If you want to upgrade, you can pay $169 to get a bottle of Tanqueray No 10 instead of the regular London Dry.
This is a small batch gin crafted using fresh citrus fruits, and comes with its own paired recipe.
‘I want to help provide the perfect opportunity for people to reconnect with friends and family – something we’ve all been missing over the last few months,’ Matt said.
‘What better way to relish winter than by sharing an epic roast?
‘I’ve created the recipe exclusively for this collaboration, it’s full of heart and soul and made for those hankering for a proper pub roast.’
The box will be available between Friday 24 July and Sunday 30 August, and you can pre-order ahead from Wednesday 8 July.
Matt added that the box’s release is perfectly timed for any Christmas in July celebrations.

Matt previously shared his ultimate dinner party tips – which include planning ahead of time with a list.
‘Create a list of what you need and what needs to be done,’ he told FEMAIL.
‘And it sounds obvious but invite those that you enjoy being around to add the ingredient you can’t buy – laughter!’
Matt also said you should opt for a menu whereby the majority can be prepared in advance, so you don’t have to spend time sweating in the kitchen when your guests are there.
Matt said that the menu has been designed to get people together again to re-connect and share food, and it’s perfect for Christmas in July (the menu pictured)
‘Show your guests that you’ve really thought about the details, not just the food. You could create a unique cocktail which compliments the food they are set to enjoy,’ he said.
Matt added that you should always finish on a ‘high note’ – with a show-stopping dessert that lingers in people’s minds.
