Goomalling farmer Rex Rowle said the area Mr Robb riding in was quite popular with quad bike riders.

‘He was commuting to Goomalling every day, he should have known the area really, where he is, which direction he was heading in,’ Mr Rowles told Perth Now.

Another business owner in the area Clinton McIvor, said Mr Robb was riding his bike ‘erratically’ when he was last seen.

‘He was only about 100m from the road (when he crashed), you know he would have seen cars driving past there at some point,’ he said.

Wheatbelt District Inspector Mark Twamley thanked all the SES volunteers and police for their help in finding Mr Robb.

‘Obviously it is upsetting for everyone involved when we resolve a matter in these circumstances,’ he said.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
