PIERS Morgan’s has got his fans hot and bothered, all because of his “messy” house.
The Good Morning host, 55, got himself into hot water with his followers after posting a seemingly innocent photo of his daughter Elise, eight, to Instagram.
Piers posted a photo of Elise standing in front of their telly, concentrating hard on Saturday’s Arsenal match.
His daughter was very focused on the game as she donned the kit of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Hoping to get a message to his daughter’s favourite player, Piers posted the pic to Instagram.
He captioned the post: “Elise not happy with that first half performance. Wants @aubameyang97 to get more of the ball.”
Despite Piers’ posting a cute pic of his youngest child enjoying the football, his followers could not get past his “messy” room.
They particularly chided him for the cluttered coffee table and web of cables behind the TV.
The coffee table was strewn with newspapers, plastic water bottles and three copies of his new book, Wake Up.
One Instagram user accused him of having a “messy house”.
While a second added: “Your tv/av cable management is appalling!”
And a third said: “I’m not happy with all those untidy wires!!!!😳”
Piers shares Elise with wife Celia Walden and also has three sons, Spencer, Albert and Stanley from his first marriage.
Things recently got heated between Spencer and himself as they clashed over the coronavirus pandemic.
The Good Morning Britain presenter furiously told Spencer to “get a grip” after they clashed over Covid again on Twitter.
But on Friday night they enjoyed a meal out before London heads into Tier 2 lockdown, Piers shared a photo of his son wearing his face covering after reading The Sun Online’s story.
“He’s getting a grip,” Piers told his fans as they shared a meal at Italian restaurant Il Portico in Kensington.
Afterwards when the pair left the eatery Piers happily wore a Frida Kahlo face mask while his son gave a thumbs up.
Yesterday the 55-year-old star couldn’t hide his outrage at 27-year-old Spencer’s comments after the government announced London will be moving into Tier 2 of lockdown.
Spencer had moaned on his Twitter account: “Today we bid farewell to pretty much every aspect of life that makes it worth living.
“A decision to prolong the pain and suffering being caused by this 99.5% survival rate, above life expectancy mortality rate virus for many many years.
“Enjoy the ‘new normal’, cos I won’t.”
He later posed at Chelsea’s swanky Bluebird restaurant, writing: “My twenties just finished two months after turning 27. What a life.”

But Piers was not afraid to publicly call out his son, retweeting Spencer’s original message and adding: “Your great-grandmother spent 5yrs of her 20s enduring World War 2 & then enjoyed another 70 more years of fun-packed life afterwards.
“You’ve done 5 months of mild inconvenience by comparison ….. get a grip.”
Spencer hit back: “Similar attacks on freedom. Understand now how she felt then.”
