After sharing her pregnancy news on Wednesday, the post has since been ‘liked’ nearly 50,000 times, with thousands congratulating the expectant couple.

The pair got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in November.

‘Trent you show this ferocious love for your friends and family, I vow I will bring that same love to you and our family to fiercely dedicate my heart to you no matter where we are and what the circumstances we find ourselves in,’ Simone wrote in a heartfelt post after their wedding day.

‘Despite the uncertainty we have experienced over the past months, I have, at the heart of each day felt secure, secure in the knowledge, that with you, my world is truly complete.

‘You are my best friend and I feel so lucky to share my life and my world with you.’

Simone has led an extraordinary life after she made headlines around the world for her jaw-dropping weight loss, which started in August 2014 at the age of 23.

Over the following years, she shared incredible ‘before’ and ‘after’ photographs of her body transformation, documented the rewarding moments and painful challenges along the way.

When Simone took charge of her 169-kilo weight, she opted to get gastric sleeve surgery to help her in her quest to be healthy.

Gastric sleeve surgery involves removing a piece of someone’s stomach somewhere between 60 and 90 per cent, depending on your size.

‘I lost half my body weight, [but] my weight never defined me as a person, I was still the same bubbly, outgoing, driven and organised Simone but it definitely limited the life I could live,’ Simone previously said.

‘Gastric sleeve surgery saved my life, I don’t believe I would be alive today without this life-changing surgery.’

Simone said the surgery gave her the ‘tools’ to ‘reinvent my eating’ and her exercise habits.

She learned that she couldn’t survive off a diet of processed foods and soft drinks, but rather needed to nourish her body with wholefoods and plenty of water.

‘I was not perfect, I had things like Weight Watchers jelly to substitute that sweet craving going on,’ she explained.

But her eating habits had changed, and she coupled this with a dedicated attitude towards fitness where she worked out daily.

Several years after she lost the bulk of the weight, she said it has become a way of life to eat clean 80 per cent and work out daily.

Simone has also had a nine-hour surgery that cost $20,000 to remove all of the excess skin that was left from her weight loss, and underwent a tummy tuck, a bra line back lift, a breast lift and augmentation.
