Surprising thing Rebecca Judd did instead of attending the 2020 Brownlow Medal

How times have changed: The surprising thing AFL WAG Rebecca Judd did instead of attending the 2020 Brownlow Medal… after being queen of the red carpet for years

She was the talk of the town after wearing a daringly low-cut red dress to the Brownlow Medal sixteen years ago and has been the queen of the red carpet at the event ever since.

However, times had certainly changed for Rebecca Judd, as she skipped the iconic sporting event’s first-ever virtual ceremony on Sunday night.

The  WAG, 37, who is married to AFL star and former Carlton captain Chris Judd, swapped her glamorous gowns for a cosy night of cooking with her four children – Oscar, 9, Billie, 6, and four-year-old twins Darcy and Tom.

Rebecca shared two images of the delicious meals she had prepared for the evening.

She also shared an image of her son Tom showing off his extensively bent thumb, with the caption: ‘Ewwww’.

Rebecca made history 16 years ago on the red carpet at the star-studded Brownlow Medal by slipping her slender frame into an iconic custom-made red gown with an extreme plunging neckline.

In 2013, the mother-of-four acknowledged that she invests ‘a lot of time, effort and cash’ into her appearance and said she gets ‘shocking eye bags.’

‘I get lots of little lumps and bumps here and there if I don’t stay on top of things and I have shocking eye bags some times,’ she said on her website.

‘I guess compared to 5 years ago, my skin is a lot better. I have put a lot of time, effort and cash into it so it’s nice for people to notice the improvement.’
